Little Fish

Out neighbors Andi and Chad invited us to join them at the community pool today. Juliet was a little unsure of herself at first but by the end of the afternoon was her usual independent self and kicking around by herself (with me right beside her) in a little inner tube.

Here she is shortly after first going in. When I held her she just clutched me around the neck and wouldn't let go. After watching Emma swim around she finally let go of me and I got her to go to Mr. Chad and he was able to get her to kick and paddle a bit.

The rest is history-she was off and swimming and we had a blast.

Note to self: After putting sunblock on your child, remember to put some on yourself.
