Little bird, little bird

A few days ago I noticed a bunch of grass and brush had accumulated on one if my garden shelves. I thought it was due to the wind and brushed it all out.

This evening on our way out to release the ladybugs I stopped short noticing all the debris again on the shelf. Right before I went to swipe it away I noticed the perfectly round hole. It's a birdhouse! (and yes I find it a tad funny that they built it right next to the wasp & hornet spray).

I hope I don't scare them away and they live a happy life there. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they went and found a new home as our porch area is pretty active between Juliet and the dogs. I'll keep everyone posted.
