The Coop

Aside from a few minor things and a coat of Barn Red paint, our chicken coop is finally finished. Our friend "Big Dave" was kind enough to come out and build it for us and I think he did a great job.

He used a lot of wood that we already had on the property, and we purchased the door, windows, nesting box drawers and other misc items from a Habitat for Humanity store nearby so that saved us a lot of money too.

Now I'm just waiting for the chicks to arrive and look forward to them getting big and giving us the freshest eggs possible.
