For a good cause

I know many of you are far away and probably can't help, but it never hurts to ask.
One of the employees where I work has a sister that lives in Alabama, in an area that was devastated by the recent tornados. They are still without power and many are without basic necessities such as clothes and shoes. (Please see below)
"I spoke to my sister and she said that the town members are in need of everything!
She has been working at the church and shelter for the last few days and said they have an overwhelming amount of people coming in for clothes, shoes etc.. Lee just got power back last night/this morning and so she's making food for the power crews that have come from other states and even washing their clothes now too. She said that we will be in shock when we see her town. Lee and family were blessed to only have damage to their office and they are now doing all they can to help others. "
Our office is doing a clothes drive of sorts to collect clothes/shoes/baby items (such as diapers, wet wipes) and any/all other necessites. These items need not be new, as long as they are in good condition and clean (as they are unable to wash items).
If you have any items that you are willing to give, please send them to:
Lee Adams
1329 Country Road 1169
Cullman, AL 35057
These items will be taken to the curch and distributed to the families in need.  If you can't donate, please just remember these people in your prayers.  As a mother, I can't even imagine what it must be like to have everything you own ripped away from you, literally in a matter of minutes.  To not have clean clothes to put your baby in or shoes to put on your feet.
Wish us luck on our first ever MERCER clothes drive! :)
Thanks,
Cristy
