More fun
We started out our morning with another round of glitter and macaroni fun, then had to take a bath. Then as a distraction to Juliet wanting to bake a cake I agreed to finger painting...... Innocent enough in the beginning.
Funny Farm
I had a great picture lined up with the goats eating, the chickens coming over to say hi and the cat even came down to say hi. Then Sadie the dog bounded over to scare the chickens and everyone bolted right as I went to take the picture.

Glitter noodles
This morning Juliet and I are using glitter glue on our macaroni art. Juliet is more interested in squeezing out the glitter than anything but she's having a blast :)

Nuts!
Make that 6 escapes! At least our dog has a warning switch. Every time he gets out she lets me know. Not sure what to do at this point. I can't leave the gate open or Leia will get out and it's getting dark and I'm being eaten alive by bugs.
Should be an interesting night. All I can hope is I still have two goats in the morning. And it does stand to reason that if he got out on his own, if he really wanted he could get back in on his own....let's just hope he's that smart.

Homestead Fun
Look at this picture.....look closer, under the tree, that's the rear-end of our male goat Han. In the span of one day he has become a super jumper and gotten out a total of 5 times. Chasing and then luring hi back through the gate is not a easy or fun task.
One of my chickens tried a jail break too but I got her situated and back with the others.
It was a long day, but the sunset was nice.

Then it happened
Juliet decided she was going to carry Kisa like she carries our neighbors cat. The only problem is that Kisa is about 3 times the size of their cat, lol (the vet says she's a cat and a half!). I can't believe Kisa let her drag her like this.....then after a few minutes, she bolted.
Cloudy day on the Homestead
This morning it was cool, overcast and foggy ("froggy out" as Juliet says) so we spent some time running around on the deck. The cat was in heaven until Juliet got ahold of her........

Cake
Here's Juliet first very excited because our neighbor sent us home with a few pieces of cake. The last pics are of her being soooooo sad when I tell her no more icing! What a sad face.

Happy Friday
Hi all. Sorry for the lack of posting lately. We've got some stuff going on that's taking a lot of our time and energy (well, my energy as Juliet's seems to be endless, lol). We're also working on getting rid of some colds we caught. So hopefully a few more days and we'll be back to normal and have more pics to share. Until then, have a great weekend!
