Goodbye draws near

After Te airport, we went to a used baby store and did a little shopping. Juliet had lots of fun. And when she couldn't reach something, she found a way to get closer.

After that we headed home where Grandma and Juliet had a nice quiet picnic lunch outside where they could watch the birds play.

After that it was time to play with her toys one last time before heading off to the airport to go back to Virginia.

The Littlest Pilot

Our last day in Vegas we got ready and headed off to the small airport to see Grandpa & his friends.

Juliet got to see the big planes and play in her plane too. She even got to sit in one of the planes they were working on. That was a fun morning!

Down time

Then it was time to go home and spend some quality time with Grandpa.

Mall Fun

After the quilt show we stopped off for lunch and Juliet had fun running around waving to people.

First Quilt Show

Took Juliet to her first quilt show on Saturday. Our lovely friend Denise was showing one of her quilts and it was absolutely beautiful! So beautiful that it took FIRST prize in it's category! YAY!

Congrats Denise!

Last of the pictures

There's a few days delay in getting the last of the Vegas pictures out on the blog. Between packing to come home & the actual flight, the last few days have been pretty exhausting. I'm still loopy fro exhaustion and the time change so if I write anything that doesn't make sense, chalk it up to Jet lag.

Tuckered Out

After the playground, Juliet practically fell asleep in my arms on the way back to the car (which is very rare for her). She passed out the second we got in the car ad only woke back up for a nice cool bath and some dinner.

It was a good day :)

Swinging Smiles

We ended our park adventure with a turn on the swings.

Playground

After dragging Juliet away from Te ducks, we found her next favorite thing at the park, the sand pit!

Ducks, Geese & Birds, Oh-My!

Ducks, Ducks, Ducks

We too Juliet to the park today and found that she REALLY likes the ducks. So much so that she would have happily joined them in the water had we not stopped her.

Little hand, Little foot

Today Grandma and I took Juliet's hand and foot impression using two clay kits we bought. We did it while she was (mostly) sleeping and they turned out so beautiful.

Grandma being the super-awesome creative genius that she is even added some extra embellishment with flowers and fancy writing.

Now we just have to decide what picture to put in the other side of the frame and....ta-da, all done.

The Red Barron!

When you're at Grandpa's house you fly in style, and Juliet is no exception. Here she is "flying" around the yard looking for someone to engage in a dogfight.

Cat Nap

Worn out from having so much fun, she took a cat nap on the ride home.

Off to the bookstore

After lunch it was off to the bookstore so Juliet could run around and have some fun.
