Early Morning Time-Out

Someone was in a good but ornery mood this morning resulting in a time-out before leaving the house.

Thursday Cuteness

Juliet was in such a good, cuddly mood this morning. These are the days it's hard to take her to daycare because I'd much rather be curled up with her.

HAHAHAHAHA

Let's go!

Now she's ready to go, eat her graham cracker & practice shapes.

Mommy's little multi-tasker!

Ladybug

Trying to pry Juliet away from practicing her shapes so we can get moving and head off to daycare.

Project #2

I stole this idea from a friend (thank you D'Bomb).

I went to the thrift store and picked up this frame for $5.00. I then headed over to Michael's crafts and picked up a roll of chalk board contact paper (using my 50% off coupon of course) for $2.50 and some colored chalk for $1.00 I went home and made this up.

I'm going to put this low on the wall near her play kitchen. When it's up and hanging I'll take more pics. Turned out better than I thought it would :)

Project #1

Over the weekend I actually got a few projects done which for me is impressive since I'm the queen of not finishing things.

Here is a chair that Allen picked up at a garage sale. We cleaned it up and I went to the fabric store and picked up scrap fabric for 3.00! Turned out pretty good for my first upholstery project.

Juliet is one cool Cat

I tried taking a pic of the two of us while on our walk and I really liked these two pics which are almost identical so I did one in B&W and one on color. Juliet just looks so cool, lol.

Walk Mommy!

Juliet wanted to go for a walk. But what she really wanted was for me to pull her around the neighborhood while she relaxed in the wagon.

Here she is telling me which way to go and yelling "GO MOMMY GO!"

Fun!

This was out first year Trick-or-Treating and it was a lot of fun. Grandma Thwing made Juliet her extra awesome Princess Leia costume and hair buns which were a huge hit.

Juliet picked up on saying "Trick or Treat" really fast and got lots of candy. We were all exhausted by nights end. Can't wait for next year! ;)

Jedi JAK!

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, Your my only hope!

Let the games begin!
