Happy Mothers Day Again

One of my MD gifts had not arrived by Sunday but it came in last
night. This is the most wonderful gift a Mom could ask for. A Mother/
Daughter necklace with our names stamped in. Thank you sweetheart.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Its Grandpa Thwing's Birthday today, so we wanted to wish him a very

We hadn't seen our friend Heather since right after Juliet was born so
we had her over the other night for a visit and some BBQ. Juliet
LOVED, loved her and we had a great visit.

Juliet Pictures

Sorry not to have any new pics of Juliet posted these last few days.
We're experiencing a fun new thing lately, Separation Anxiety. If I
put her down or leave the room she cries and if I pick her up, I can't
take pictures. Soooooo, we're just kind of waiting to see what
happens and hoping it passes as quickly as it started.

Luckily she's been with her sitter for so long that this isn't an
issue when I drop her off in the morning (yet). Keep your fingers
crossed for me on that one. I'm sure eventually it will happen, and
I'm sure it will break my heart. But maybe we'll get lucky :)

The other tourist attraction

Ok so now I had to go take a picture of the other tourist attraction I
mentioned. To the right of where the cruise ships dock is the
Battleship Wisconson. This picture does not do it justice. I remember
a few years ago when I lived downtown just a block away from this
ship. On Sundays I would get up in the morning and go for a walk in
the park which meant walking on the boardwalk in front of the ship
(can't see it in this pic). It was such a crazy feeling walking past
as it loomed over you. Very cool.
