Juliet Pictures

Sorry not to have any new pics of Juliet posted these last few days.
We're experiencing a fun new thing lately, Separation Anxiety. If I
put her down or leave the room she cries and if I pick her up, I can't
take pictures. Soooooo, we're just kind of waiting to see what
happens and hoping it passes as quickly as it started.

Luckily she's been with her sitter for so long that this isn't an
issue when I drop her off in the morning (yet). Keep your fingers
crossed for me on that one. I'm sure eventually it will happen, and
I'm sure it will break my heart. But maybe we'll get lucky :)

The other tourist attraction

Ok so now I had to go take a picture of the other tourist attraction I
mentioned. To the right of where the cruise ships dock is the
Battleship Wisconson. This picture does not do it justice. I remember
a few years ago when I lived downtown just a block away from this
ship. On Sundays I would get up in the morning and go for a walk in
the park which meant walking on the boardwalk in front of the ship
(can't see it in this pic). It was such a crazy feeling walking past
as it loomed over you. Very cool.

Cruise Ship

Right outside of my work building are two main tourist attractions.
This is one of them, the new Half Moon cruise port. It doesn't look
that big in the picture but that ship is huge.

The funny thing is that you can't see the ship from the freeway so you
never know one is in port until you turn the the last corner and BOOM
it's just right there looming over you as you drive past.

I think it's always pretty cool to see.

Spiffy New Shirt

Check out the spiffy shirt Grandma Thwing made for me. Grandpa Thwing
even made me a music CD to go with it!

It's TOO HOT

It's really hot today so we're all doing what we can to cool off. Even
the cat is trying to curl up as close as she can to the cool tiles.

Warm Day

It was pretty warm out today so Juliet (happily) lounged around in her
diaper most of the day. Here she is with the remote control watching
Seseme Street.
