Hi everyone! Thanks for all your well wishes, we really apreciate it.
After a long day of labor yesterday we ended up having to get a c-
section. We're doing great now but are really sore and tired. We get
to leave the hospital soon to go home and get situated. Keep checking
back for new pics and videos and thanks again to all our family and
friends for your support. You Rock!

LITTLE GIRL

After the Epidural

Allen after my epidural. Poor guy, he's wiped out after holding my
hands through 6 hours of hard contractions.

Now we can both get a little rest :)

Still Natural

So we've been having contractions since around 9:00 this morning. We
dealt with them until around 3:30 ish but by that time they had gotten
really-and I mean REALLY bad with the end not in sight until late this
evening.

After much agonizing and trying our best we called up for the
epidural.....and it's a beautiful thing. I'm really tired from the
hours of pain but now I can kick back and get some rest before the big
finale.

We wanted to do natural child birth and after 6hours of contractions
every 2 minutes,we're very confident that we experienced it just
enough. And like I told Allen, I'm doing all of this makeup free-so
technically it is still natural, lol.

Off to rest....more to come.

Who needs sleep?

So last night they gave me a sleeping pill around 10:30. It finally
took effect around 11:00 and I drifted off into a nice slumber. But
because in a hospital they wake you up every other hour to do tests,
etc. my body fought off the pill and I've now been awake since about
3:15.

Not so bad though, laying here in the dark listening to the baby's
heartbeat and watching all the monitors go up and down.

Allen is fast asleep bundled up in the pull out bed next to me. I'm
glad he's getting some sleep-he's going to need all his energy later
as my coach :).

Well I'm off to play some iPhone games until everyone else wakes up or
I fall back to sleep.

So tonight we go to the hospital to start the induction. Right now I'm
passing the time by doing baby laundry and finishing up last minute
chores. It's amazing how much laundry/stuff she already has and she's
not even here yet.

Still on my to-do list.....picking out her first outfit.

New iPhone Picture App

Sometimes pictures just look better when thy're not super sharp. I
found an app for my phone that turns photos black and white, makes
them look vintage or like a polaroid. Stay tuned for more cool,

Fat Foot Pedicure

My awesome friend Heather "D'Bomb" picked me up today for a last lunch
and afternoon peicure. My feet are still pretty fat, but at least my
nails look good!

Fat Foot Bath

Today Allen brought me home a foot bath so I can soak my fat, swollen,
barking dogs. It didn't help the swelling but felt pretty good
regardless. Kitty wasn't sure what to make of it and kept dipping her
little paws in and at one point used it as a drinking fountain. Good
times, good times....
